Two-year-old Colette

So I just took Colette yesterday to get her 2-year-old pictures taken, and picture-crazy person that I am, I just had to take one of her myself when we got home!! She looked SO adorable!! So anyway, here's our pretty little two-year-old girl here... Looking so grown up these days! :)

How much sparkle and personality this pretty little fireball has brought to our family these past two years! We are so thankful for our sweet and happy little Colette, and we can't wait to see what more is in store for us in these upcoming years we get to have with her! :)

Colette's 2nd B-day!

Well, we have a two-year-old in the house again! Tuesday was Colette's 2nd birthday, and we just can't believe how big she is getting... We had a fun day here at home with her. The kids get so excited by the decorations and the balloons to play with, decorating the cake, and the fun birthday meals... We went on a little picnic to the park for lunch that day, and of course opening the presents, playing with the new toys, and having cake & ice cream in the evening with Dad is always the most anticipated throughout the day! :) Colette's favorite present was of course the dress-up set we got for her! (She is all about accessories -- such a girl!) It came with high-heeled shoes (her favorite!), purses, a bracelet, and even some clip-on earrings, which you would never guess a two-year-old would want to keep on, but she LOVES them! She's been walking around here all week, dressed up like a little prom queen...! :) She also got to pick a cake from our fun little cake book as always -- and she chose the butterfly, which she wanted pink! They just love those fun cakes that we always get to make now -- (thanks, Mom, for the book!) :) So anyway, here are the pictures from her birthday this week:

Our afternoon & picnic at the park... It ended up being really fun because we decided to try out a new park that we found here on the base, and we had it all to ourselves -- the kids had a really fun little afternoon there!

Opening presents that evening... She definitely had some very excited helpers with this event, of course!

Daddy-Daughter Campout

Our ward had a Daddy/Daughter Campout this past weekend, and Jared was able to take Brielle, who had an absolute blast!! She was so excited to get to go camping with Dad all by herself -- and definitely one of the events I heard the most about when they got back -- they found a horny toad and she got to hold it... She was very proud! :) Anyway, it was a fun little outing and memory for them -- she got to roast marshmallows in a campfire for her first time as well! She was excited...
