Father's Day

Jared's 6th Father's Day as a Dad! It was a very nice Sunday here together -- the kids all made pictures for him, and Brielle made a very cute tie in Primary for him to wear! :) What an awesome Daddy he is for our little munchkins!!

Brielle also filled out a cute little questionnaire in Primary for her Dad as well (her responses were written by her teacher, of course), but I just had to post her responses -- we were laughing when we read it:
-My Dad's favorite hobby is:
"Play with me"
-The best thing about my Dad is:
"He kisses me"
-I think my Dad's hero is:
"My Mommy"
-My Dad really makes me laugh when:
"He tickles me"
-My Dad's favorite place to go is:
"Disneyland"
-If my Dad could eat/do just one thing all day, it would be:
"Cake/Check the mail"
-One of the best things my Dad has ever done for me:
"Kiss & hug me"

Cute "Pyramid"

This was a fun little picture that we took of our three cuties just recently -- Brielle (5 1/2 years old), Samuel (3 years old), and Colette (22 months)...

Our June

Well, I haven't posted any pictures from the month of June, so this might be a long post...

We had a fun month, getting to spend the beginning half with my Mom & Dad here visiting us (My dad got to stay for a few days, and my mom for a week and a half!) -- it was tons of fun!! The kids had a blast...

So anyway, here's some pictures from the month of June...

Playing in our lovely mud-hole in the backyard -- we have a sprinkler that fluds right now that we are trying to get fixed, but in the meantime, the kids don't mind the fun, squishy, mud!

Daily lunches at the park here on base -- a very fun summer program they have here!

Our first garden harvest! -- the radishes! The kids were very excited to finally get to pick something from it, and actually see the food that has been hiding under the ground. And the radishes actually turned out pretty good too -- it was an exciting event! :)

Making brownies with Grandpa & Grandma!

Our Zoo trip! We had a very fun day at the zoo while my mom was here visiting with us -- it's such a nice zoo that we have here!

Swimming! Brielle did swimming lessons for two weeks, which she just had a blast with, and we got our yearly wading pool for the backyard that they have all been loving to play in every morning... Fun summer memories!

Taking the kids bowling... they just love it -- with the ramps and bumpers -- being able to do it by themselves. Colette, of course, is all about the new shoes she is given to wear! She gets so excited about shoes!

Our last evening together with Grandma -- it was a fun visit!

New nightly ritual the kids have started with Jared -- riding up the stairs on his feet to go to bed -- quite the workout for Dad, of course, but the kids just LOVE it!!

Arizona w/ Family

Then, of course the rest of our trip was spent in Arizona, getting to spend time with all our awesome family. The kids have such a blast with all their fun cousins, grandparents, and aunts & uncles!

Fun w/ Mom & Dad Ray & Family…

Cute matching shirts that Mom Ray bought for the three girl cousins! I just love how Colette & Reagan are turning into such buddies whenever we visit… :)

Fun w/ Mom & Dad Squires & Family…

Swimming at Athena’s pool at her new house in Gilbert!

Colette was having so much fun rinsing off in the shower afterwards – she was being so funny…

Thanks again to everyone for such a fun trip!! We just love all the memories! :)

Our Vacation

Well, the next part of our trip was mine and Jared’s first vacation – just the two of us – our first time ever having a night away from the kids! They got to stay with all our family in Arizona and had a blast spending time with all of them, of course – thank you all again so much for doing that for us! :)
And Jared and I went to Utah and Nevada for a very fun little trip together! We stayed in Salt Lake and had a blast seeing all the beautiful things at Temple Square – as well as getting to do sessions in the Salt Lake and Bountiful temples, for the first time, of course. What an amazing church this is to be apart of!The Bountiful TempleTulips are my favorite flower, so I was very excited about the MANY tulip beds they have all around the Bountiful temple!! So pretty…

We got to do one of those horse-and-buggy rides around Temple Square one night. That was really fun!

On our drive from Utah to Nevada, we decided to do temple stops to all of the temples on the way that neither of us had seen yet. Some of the best places in the world to visit, right! :) These are the three we actually stopped at and walked around – all just gorgeous, of course – but I think there was like a total of 7 temples that we saw all in that one day – most from a distance on the freeway… But I just can’t believe how many temples there are so close together… It was a fun day!The Jordan River Temple

The Draper Temple

The Mount Timpanogos Temple – I think this one was definitely my favorite – SO pretty!

Well, my parents happened to plan their own little trip to Laughlin for the last few days that we had planned to be on our trip, so we decided to join them for those few days just for fun! We all had a really good time together – definitely a fun memory!

All in all, it was such a wonderful little vacation that we were able to take together! So thankful for that chance we got to have! :)

Heidi's Graduation

Well, we had quite a week and a half away from home that we just got back from this past weekend. It was a blast! First day started with Heidi's High School graduation in Gilbert, which we were very excited to get to see and be apart of! Awesome job, Heidi!! :)

Brielle's Gymnastics Show

Also a few weeks ago, Brielle's gymnastics class had their last class of the Spring semester, and they had a cute show for all the kids to participate in that week -- showing all that they've learned all semester. Brielle just loves being in the spotlight as always! :) And they also gave them all medals at the end -- very exciting! Our whole family ended up being able to go and watch -- it was a fun little evening.

Father & Sons Outing

Well, it's been a few weeks ago now, but Jared & Samuel got to go on their first Father-and-Sons Campout with our ward in May! Samuel was SO excited -- especially to get to sleep in the back of the truck, apparently... :) Definitely a fun memory for them!
