Our Vacation

Well, the next part of our trip was mine and Jared’s first vacation – just the two of us – our first time ever having a night away from the kids! They got to stay with all our family in Arizona and had a blast spending time with all of them, of course – thank you all again so much for doing that for us! :)
And Jared and I went to Utah and Nevada for a very fun little trip together! We stayed in Salt Lake and had a blast seeing all the beautiful things at Temple Square – as well as getting to do sessions in the Salt Lake and Bountiful temples, for the first time, of course. What an amazing church this is to be apart of!The Bountiful TempleTulips are my favorite flower, so I was very excited about the MANY tulip beds they have all around the Bountiful temple!! So pretty…

We got to do one of those horse-and-buggy rides around Temple Square one night. That was really fun!

On our drive from Utah to Nevada, we decided to do temple stops to all of the temples on the way that neither of us had seen yet. Some of the best places in the world to visit, right! :) These are the three we actually stopped at and walked around – all just gorgeous, of course – but I think there was like a total of 7 temples that we saw all in that one day – most from a distance on the freeway… But I just can’t believe how many temples there are so close together… It was a fun day!The Jordan River Temple

The Draper Temple

The Mount Timpanogos Temple – I think this one was definitely my favorite – SO pretty!

Well, my parents happened to plan their own little trip to Laughlin for the last few days that we had planned to be on our trip, so we decided to join them for those few days just for fun! We all had a really good time together – definitely a fun memory!

All in all, it was such a wonderful little vacation that we were able to take together! So thankful for that chance we got to have! :)

Good for you guys to take a vacation alone. It is so nice, isn't it!?! I got to see your kids for a little while, but unfortunately I missed seeing you guys...maybe next time.
