Albuquerque Temple

We ended up going and walking around our temple here Sunday evening, and these are just some fun pictures we took there... I just love pictures at the temple! :)

Our Family (for now)... :)

We were having fun taking pictures on Sunday when everyone was here, and I was just thinking this very well might be our last family picture with just three kids! So I decided to post it just for fun... I am 37 weeks along today, and so far all seems to be going the way it normally does for me, so it'll probably still be a few more weeks -- we're all just excited to find out when this baby is going to decide to make his presence into the world! (And I am definitely ready and excited to not be pregnant anymore whenever he does decide he's ready!) :)

Visitors!

We've had so much fun these past two weekends with family coming to visit us!! Jared's brother, Daylen, is going to be leaving on his mission this month, and his date to leave ended up being on the very same week as my due date for the baby, so that kind of clinched it for us not being able to be there to say goodbye when he leaves... So we were so excited when Jared's Mom & Dad decided to bring him up to visit us last weekend -- especially so the kids could see him one last time before he leaves! They had a blast with their fun Uncle Daylen, and of course we all always have a blast whenever we get to visit with family! :)

Then also this past weekend, we had a ton of fun with Athena and Alaina & her kids coming to visit us for the Labor Day weekend!! Athena, Alaina, and I were always the three musketeers growing up, and it's been forever since we've all three been together like that -- it was so much fun having them here -- always goes by too fast! :)

Brielle's First Day of School!

We have a Kindergartener now!! Yesterday was Brielle's first day of Kindergarten, and she is having an absolute blast! We cannot believe we have a kid in school now -- she's getting so big... So far she is loving it, and we love hearing about it when she gets home -- sure brings back elementary school memories... Her favorite part of school thus far is lunch! :) She loves getting to pick her food from the cafeteria -- especially the milk because they have the option of strawberry and chocolate every day! :) She also loves showing us the fun worksheets and papers she brings home that she worked on at school that day -- she is very excited that she gets to use scissors and glue sticks and markers! It is just so much fun getting to hear all about the things she is learning and how excited she is about it all. Definitely a new phase of life for us around here, having someone to take to school every day, being on a good & constant schedule here at home now, and getting to be involved with all this fun elementary school stuff. Samuel and Colette are loving it too because they get to play on the Kindergarten playground every day when we drop her off and pick her up! Anyway, definitely a fun event and milestone in our family right now!!
August 24, 2009: Brielle ready to leave for her first day of school! Very excited...

August 25: I remembered to bring the camera today to get a picture of her outside the schoolyard. It's a nice little set-up here at the Kindergarten playground.

And this is outside the door to her classroom, which opens right to the playground. We really like her teachers too -- Mrs. E. & Mrs. Black. It's all been a really fun little experience so far! :)
