Past Birthday Memories

Just some fun memories from Brielle's past birthdays... What a beautiful and fun little girl she is growing up to be! We just can't believe she is already six years old... We are so thankful for our sweet little Brielle & the wonderful big sister of the family that she is! :)

Brielle's 6th Birthday!

Well, we have a 6-year-old in the house now!! Can't believe it... I know I'm a few weeks behind here, but Brielle had her 6th birthday on the 9th of this month. She was counting down the days as soon as Christmas was over! It was on a Saturday this year, which made it nice (Jared was actually on the night shift that week, so although they've been working Saturdays right now, he was still able to spend the day with us -- though possibly not completely awake at all times!) :) We had a fun family day. Brielle wanted to open her presents the very moment she woke up (which was at 5am, by the way!), and she got to pick her favorite meals for the day as always. (Sausage & waffles for breakfast, and belive it or not, peanut butter & honey sandwiches for lunch along with Doritos)... :) We took all the kids to a movie that afternoon, and amazingly enough, we all had a blast -- even with 4 kids, 6 years old and under... :) They loved it! And Brielle actually picked Golden Corral for her birthday dinner -- they just love that place with being able to walk around and pick whatever food they want! :) Brielle also picked a train cake this year from our fun little cake book, which she wanted purple! It was a fun day for her!

Taking Cupcakes to School

We made cupcakes for Brielle to take to school for her birthday, and this was definitely one of the things she was MOST excited about this year! (So fun to be in the spotlight in your class at school!) :)

Timothy's Blessing Day

Timothy's Blessing Day at church was on the 3rd of this month, and it was definitely a special day for us -- all being together as a family & being able to have a special day for him now that he's home! And what a handsome boy he was! It was also special to have Jared's parents here with us as well for that day, and for Timothy's Grandpa (who he is named for) to be able to participate in the blessing!
It also ended up being a neat testimony meeting for our family as well -- as Brielle & Samuel ended up bearing their testimonies for the first time in Sacrament meeting (all of their own accord -- they both just decided they wanted to very badly that day!) They did an awesome job too -- we were proud of them -- and of course got their Mom & Dad up there with them in the process... :) So it was a good testimony meeting for us. And it was really neat that it happened to be on Timothy's Blessing Day!
