Summer Re-Cap!

So to hit the major highlights of our summer.... :)


May 22 & 24: Moving weekend! The before & after pictures of our Uhaul (which Jared pretty much single-handedly loaded himself... with the "help" of 4 excited little munchkins & a not-so-strong wife!)













May 26: Brielle's Kindergarten Graduation! (Also the day we actually left from Albuquerque - right afterwards...) What a good job she did in her first year of school! She's a good girl!

June 5: Athena's Bridal Shower! Such an exciting month with my sister engaged and getting married!!

June 7: Timothy's first time going swimming! Boy does this guy LOVE the water!! He was very excited...

June 20: Father's Day & a picture in our new house!

June 26: My twin sister, Athena's Wedding Day!!! Brennon & Athena Jones - married in the Mesa, Temple! So very very happy & thankful for this day!!

July 16: Swimming Lessons! These guys actually really learned how to swim this year! What an exciting thought!

July 20: Our family's first experience w/ one of the kids getting stitches... Poor little Colette fell trying to get down off a chair at the table & hit the side of her head (right next to her eye) on the edge of the table, splitting the skin right open... She was SO amazingly brave getting the stitches done!! She listened to everything the doctor said to her & followed his instructions exactly - didn't even cry! We were so proud of her! (She was a little overly excited about the many stickers she was given there in the hospital & the coloring book as well!)

July 25: The one in the family who changes the most right now! Timothy (10 months old) being a good sport about getting dressed up... (The 2nd picture shows his true opinion of the hat)...

August 4: Colette's 3rd Birthday! It never ceases to amaze me at how fast they are each growing up! Can't believe we have another 3-year-old in the house now... Still our little miss priss as always! Her favorite present this year was a "beauty" set w/ toy curling irons, brushes, perfume, & a blow dryer - she and Brielle played "beauty shop" all day! She chose a dog cake this year, and we made it as girly & prissy as we could! She loved it!

Our BIG News!!!

Is it possible for so many dreams to come true in the same week?!! We are SO excited around here! Well, first of all, as of May 1st, my twin sister is now engaged to be married!! Yay!!!!!! :) And the next big news that finally became official this past week -- Jared was approved for a job he applied for in the Reserves, and we are coming home!!!!!! :) We found out about this job back in January, and have been going through all kinds of different processes and approvals, applying and all that, never really believing it would really happen -- because this is seriously our dream job and what we've been wanting all along - to get to move back home to Arizona!! And it finally became official this week - the final approval - it's really going to happen! We will be moving at the end of this month to Pima, and we will actually be getting to live right next door to my parents -- we are SO excited!! Anyway, it is a long story, but that is pretty much the main point -- we are coming home, and we just feel so very blessed with all these amazing miracles this month!! :)

These are just some fun pictures we took of the kids a few Sundays ago (for Mother's Day pictures)... Always just growing up so fast.... These guys are just ecstatic at the thought of living in Arizona by all their grandparents and cousins! They keep asking us when we are leaving... :)

These are some pictures of Athena and her husband-to-be (Brennon Jones)!! They will be getting married on June 26 in the Mesa Temple. There is no way to even describe how insanely excited and happy I am for her -- ever since we were little we always said we were supposed to be married and be moms at the same time together -- that was always the plan! I just can't believe it is finally going to come true! And I just had the opportunity to meet Brennon this past weekend, and he is awesome! They make such a perfect couple!! I am just SO excited for them! :)

Life is just so amazing and wonderful!! We are all just walking around in a dream world right now!! :)
