Other Fun February Stuff!

Well, I had my 29th birthday (yikes!) :) this past month as well as mine and Jared's 8th anniversary in February too... Always a fun and busy month! We had such an awesome experience, though!! (Thanks to my wonderful sister, her husband, and my Mom & Dad!!) I was able to go with Jared for his Reserves weekend in February, and we got to go see the AWESOME musical, "Wicked," at the college there!!! It was definitely the best anniversary present ever, and we were so thankful for that little get-away - we had a blast!! Also some other fun little pictures here from the month - the kids playing at the park, and a spontaneous little last-minute visit by Heidi (the last weekend in February) just for fun!! Her birthday wasn't until March 6, but we decided to have a fun little celebration while we were with her!! These kids have such a blast with their awesome Aunt Heidi!! Lots of fun happenings in February.... :)

And here is our handsome little 5-year-old! Near one of his favorite places to play when allowed to - the canal right next to our house... He is definitely not as big a fan of posing for pictures as his sisters have come to be, but he was a good sport about it for his Mom! :)

Samuel's 5th Birthday!

Craziest thing ever that this boy is 5 now!! We're actually going to have two in school in the Fall... What an awesome little man he is growing into! He had a ton of fun this year!! Some of his favorite presents included a bunch of "new" toy cars that were actually Jared's when he was little, and then surprisingly, a little toy harmonica (it always seems to be the free to $5 presents that they love the best, somehow!) :) He also got a transformer pinata this year, which he was SO excited about!! And we all went bowling for his birthday as well - which is becoming a tradition for him to pick to do... These guys were actually pretty good at rolling those balls down there by themselves this time (with bumper pads, of course) - we couldn't believe all the strikes and spares!! They had a lot of fun! Anyway, lots of fun birthdays around this house lately... (We are always secretly relieved when Samuel's ends the birthday & holiday streak for us every year now - we have a good six months until the next one starts it all up again)... :)
As always, Timothy would not be left out of the fun! We also had a hard time getting him to relinquish the stick, once we let him have a try!

Other January Happenings

Samuel started Preschool & is absolutely LOVING it!!
Brielle & Colette started Gymnastics and also loving it!
Timothy is just running everywhere these days to keep up with his siblings (and taking months & months to get his molars in, poor boy -- constant drool stain on all his shirts)...
Brielle is obsessed with cooking these days - she just LOVES to help with dinner!
