Timothy's First Birthday!

Wow! So Timothy is one year old now!! Can't believe what a strong and healthy little (or I should say big!) guy he is! We are so very thankful for our little cutie of the family -- always bringing so much fun and laughter to this house! We kind of had a 3-day celebration for him because Jared was gone to Albuquerque on his birthday (his first Reserves weekend) - so the kids and I decorated the Sunday morning of his birthday - played with balloons and bubbles; and then Monday morning when Daddy was home, he openend his presents (or in other words, watched with great interest as his very excited older siblings openend them for him); and then on Tuesday evening (when Jared did not have an evening class to go to) we watched his first expeience with cake! Always the fun part of their first birthdays... His reaction was quite the exception to the other kids in our family so far, though - he got his first taste of cake and wanted nothing to do with it! He made quite the disgusted faces with it any time it found its way into his mouth, and spit it out every time! We got quite the kick out of him! Funny little guy... :)

Another fun little thing that happened on Timothy's birthday -- he pulled out Brielle's loose tooth! It had been hanging by a thread all week, and she had been very badly wanting it to come out to put under her pillow, but was too afraid to let anyone try to pull it out. Well, it just so happened that on Timothy's birthday morning, he was playing with Brielle, and reached his finger right into her mouth and popped it right out! She was very excited, and we had a visit from the tooth fairy on the night of Timothy's birthday! :)

This is such a funny little video of Timothy's crazy dancing to some birthday music we were playing for him on his birthday! :) He just loves doing those 360-turns! :)
